Sanding

Oh, I was so thankful that it was bright and sunny on the 02 January 2011. Sujud syukur my dad and datin. Sampai niat puasa lagi babe for the next 3 days, sebab majlis turn out well. Alhamdullialh. Bukan mcm anak dia ni.

The datin was so worried about the weather, the food, the decor, the turn out, takut the tentage collapse, takut current tak ader, takut nasi tak cukup.... sigh, now you know from who I in herit the overactive imaginery mind. Pening I. I was so stress whenever I talk to datin. Seriously, baik baik, I tak pikir, once she opened her mouth terus, pang... betol jugak kata mak aku ni.

Any way, alhamdullialh once again, it turns out well. And the Food. Oh the food deserve to have its own post. I can never thank Farah Diana enough.

I TAK nak pakai songket pink!

That bubbles effect and that baju dat I wanted, but just because its pink, the tuns blew my bubbles away.

Suka suka jer

Oh i find the bride to be very pretty and her make up, cantik nah. I once said tak nak make up tebal, and the tuns ever mentioned 'Jgn make up tebal sangat eh yang, takut tak cam isteri sendiri'. Jangan nak k siaw eh.

Smoky eyes and red lips do works.

Seperti org lain akan cakap, 'eh pengantin mestilah make up mcm pengantin' The thing is I ni kuat berpeluh, and I have this irritating habit of wiping my nose or my face with my hands or on the tuns shoulder. Tapi time sanding takkan lah I nak rub muka I kat tuns punya shoulder, member pakai songket keras punya jenis, habis bercalar muka I kalau I rub kat shoulder dia. And I notice the more make up I pakai the more I rasa berpeluh, lagi rimas muka I. Sampai I order serum 'anti-berpeluh'. Tried once, mujarab lah. Ask ur mak andam. Most mak andam will provide. Feeling nak jadi princess

Hi Siti, this post is for you.

To save cost, the tuns actually engaged his friends to be the photographer. I have asked a few bridal boutique on rental of gown. The price was sky high, and thats exlude the groom punya baju and accesories.

I got mine online. On ebay actually. Datin was very skeptical at first she mentioned 'Boleh percaya ker jah? Nanti dia tipu duit kau' Tawakal ajer lah. But the dress turn out quit ok, it does not look exactly like the picture tapi sikit lebih kurang halal. Takkan lah nak sama 100%, badan model  kat gambar tu selim melim, badan i mcm orang beranak sepuloh. I was not expecting much. I tak suka dress yg mengembang. In the picture the dress tak lah kembang sangat but bila i dapat jorang buat dress tu kembang and with a large and long train, meleret leret. Datin say, 'Lawa jah, mcm lady diana' Lady diana ker hapa. I got mine for less than S$200 inclusive of shipping.

I actually have a standby dress yg I hantar upah kat johor, Larkin, my tailor charge me only RM90. just in case the gown turns like baju cik pon.

Ok more details on the dress. I bought mine from this seller, tiger 20088. Ader berlambak gown seller tapi kenapa I choose dia, sebab price dia ok ok and he is a power seller from Ebay. Maknanya reliable. You  can check on buyers' feedback on his items here. At first I was ragu ragu on the quality and workmanship of the items, so I emailed a few buyers, not a few lah, alot actually, buyer yang pernah beli wedding gown with the seller. Click on the name of the buyer then click contact. Mostly will reply, ader say fabulous, ader say love it, ader say ok ok. I even asked them to attached pictures of the gown they bought. Normally the buyers are helpful, ader even give advice.

Other good deal is from Elas Dress. They are based in Singapore but they send their items to China, samer lah jugak kalau kita beli kat ebay. Byk jugak mak andam beli from this site. Price wise very reasonable. Seriously.Kalau pattern yg jorang ader u tak berkenan, they can customise, email them a picture of the gown and they will quote you. Ella, owner of the blog cepat reply email and very very friendly. I love their evening gown more than their wedding gown. Their wedding gowns are so elaborate and much cheaper. Price quoted are in Singapore Dollars. Accesories pulak beli ajer kat Forever 21, hair accessories, rantai, gelang, ear rings. Kalau nak yg over, nak bling bling beli ajer at Mustafa Centre. One whole set of necklace, bracelet and earing cost only 18 bucks.

 

For the guy punya pulak, I bought the tuns suit at Dan Stevenson factory outlet, at Telok ayer street, sederet ngan telok ayer food centre. Naik Mrt turun kat Tanjong pagar. His suit is $220, inclusive of suit, pants and vest. Shirt pakai apa yang ader.

Leo, also bought his from the same outlet. Si dekni feeling Justin Timberlake jadi dia choose colour silver, see post on Mar and Leo's Wedding.

After the wedding, you can sell the dress away. at ebay ker or at any wedding forum. Tapi jgn pulak use the kain untuk kain lap lap mcm si tuns ni pernah suggest. Sayang, memory geng.

Kita nanti nak pakai gown lah... Steady ah....

So many things to do but so little time.. since i'm not taking the studio and outdoor shoot with Chinta, I have bought my own dress online. Trust me the dress cost me less compared to the rental ones, plus they add a lace bolero and a cathedral veil, veil yg panjang mengurai tu, abit rimas I tell u. I ordered the dress few months backs, and I've lost a few inches ard the hip, so now all I need to do is to alter a little of here and there. 

asal terbalik pulak gambar ni pulak... tsk

I told the tuns, nanti dah kawin kalau I boring boring and kalau nak feeling feeling, I pakai lah baju ni balik time buat house work, time tgh sapu ker, time cuci kain ker, time nak sambut suami balik kerja ker.

The tuns answer really fume 

'Sedap I dengar, kalau u masih muat bagus lah yang, tapi kalau dah tak muat, jgn pulak u koyakkan kain tu nanti, jadikan kain lap lap u pulak' 

wah liow!!!!!! you see, mcm manalah tak slalu gaduh!!!!

Simple jer

Nora Danish, you pakai baju kurung simple ngan brooch and selendang jer for nikah dah lawa. 

I ader lah berangan nak pakai bunga la, bling bling lah, veil lah, itu pun belum tentu lawa.... sigh... 

some people are just bless. Itu pun ex laki dia nk kan si dektu. Tak paham betol.

Sanggul

The mak andam was shocked when I mentioned that I dont want to wear all the cucuk cucuk sanggul thingy, and she said, 'Tak boleh sayang, you kena pakai, baru naik seri' and the tuns jadi nasi tambah and added 'Bedal ajer lah yang, kalau mak andam you suruh cucuk, cucuk ajer'

Like I mentioned in previous post, I love to have flowers in the hair, a veil maybe, blings or head band or the kerawang kind at the side are also fine but definitely not a crown. I tak nak jadi the evil queen.

I love the last 2 pictures the most

Cantikkan, not so over, sweet ajer..... but when i saw the picture below, I went gaga... definately over, so ott!

Love love love the sanggul, so different from the normal sangul lintang. I like that it start from the crown of the head instead of from the forehead, that will only emphasis my round face dan terselah kejendolan I. But when I tried it own the tuns just cant stop laughing. I really feel like an antlers and its so bloordy heavy. Baik jangan pakai. Confirm with the hot weather and the rimas baju, silap hari bulan, ader jugak orang yang akan kena rodok ngan tu sanggul, easy target is the person that will be sitting next to me on the pelamin.
