December, Mini Zoo and LuLu

I love December... there is always something special about December, beside the bonus, the Christmas Sale is always a hit in my agenda for the month of December.
The husband birthday also falls on December and extra TLC will always be given and discounts at places during birthday months.

And Ny loves the Christmas lights down Orchard Road... aiya any colourful lights also she likes lah... lampu lap lip kat umah pun she can stare and smile... So the mummy and the daddy monkey have been visiting Orchard road quite often for the little Miss sake.

We had a mini party for the kids (actually its for the mak budak to meet and lepaskan rindu) last Saturday. We had a theme party. Ny decides to be a Flamingo, a flamingo which shrieks alot and wishes to fly. There are also little kai kai (but no jia jia), ada elephant, ada angry owl, ada Chimpanzees, ada tiger, ada lion, ada cat, ada giraffe... Macam Zoo.

I love family gathering.... love love... but what I dun love is when they start comparing their kids... Come on.... she only turns 1..

The other daddy talk to the daddy....'My babe can recite ABC, 1 to 20, 20 to 1, in english, in malay... you should let them watch more videos, this video is really good'

The daddy ask 'What video ah, share ah...'

The other daddy 'That one cannot tell lah... u just search at you tube'

Huh...??!!?? Nasib I'm married to this really cool guy yang jenis relek, senyum and jenis LAYANKAN ajer...

A day at the zoo

On her birthday we went to the ZOO. Yeay!!! It’s been ages since mummy step in there.

It was a perfect day, sunny, a little hot but perfect.

Many renovation and upgrading works were going on. We showed the ticket officer Ny’s passport and we got a ‘I’m Having a wild Birthday Badge’. We pined it at her pram. We were surprised when a group of mats (workers of the zoo) came and start singing happy birthday. Eh happy semacam sei. Mummy dia yang excited. Terlonjat lonjat nyanyi Happy birthdays just like the monkeys there. Ternganga nganga anak aku.

Whenever we pass by zoo attendant, zoo keeper, workers of the zoo, they will stop and sing a birthday song, sampai last last kita cakap, ‘tak payah lah cik, dah banyak sangat orang nyanyi’

That’s the bliss of going on a weekday, no rush, no crowd. Agaknya jorang ni boring so ‘Meh kita nyayikan baby ni birthday song’ hahahaha….

The daddy monkey and birthday girl had a blast at the water theme place, bukan main lagi. We love the giraffe but not the smell. I still prefer orange tiger than the white tiger. Nyla was fascinated with the sun bear and the lion, the daddy as the name given, the monkeys. There was no elephant show cause the place was under renovation, no fun. We manage to watch the splash show. That was fun.

We end the trip by having a meal at the KFC. Then the daddy brought us to the Stomping ground show gallery at the substation. Ny was fascinated by the punks and the rambut tercacak cacak kind of kids. Member tengokkan ajer, and its tickles me when these kids with tercacak cacak hair with chains, with heavy doc marts, and skinny jeans and dark kohl eyes and chokers trying to make funny faces to Nyla. I wish I capture a pic of their antic but battery low batt, Ceh!!!

My loves

At times I found myself rushing for time, seeking for additional time, begging for time.
I am so exhausted. And I always wonder how can a family of 3 (with a little girl) have so much laundry. Tak habis habis cuci baju. Oh dun tell me about ironing, satu hari ironing board tu boleh fly from the balcony.

Nyla is super active. Crawl sana, crawl sini. Panjat sana panjat sini. She love kisses, she kisses everything, the paul frank, her reflection in the mirror, her walker, her bumbo, the tv console, almost everything and anything!!!

And her daddy... sigh...  he has been the sweetest, what would I do without you babe.... I'm currently at work. 1pm come quick, cant wait to hug these two!!!

New Chapter

I have never been this tired. Weekend was fully packed.
Alhamdullilah we have sign all the required papers for our LuLu.
Mr S was grinning the whole paper signing process.
My head, mind and brains are embossed with money sign.
I'm a little overwhelmed, mana baby nak kelur mana rumah nak masuk.

and we bought more books for the Baby.

Mr S keep reading the same book over and over again to the tummy. I'm sure baby is bored.

The 3 'S' birthday bash was a success, pregnant me was shouting away while executing the games for the kids to play. Longy help putting up all the decorations. Food was magnificent, I had my bbq chickens and otak otak and ikan pari and other glorious food. No pictures taken. Damn!!!

I purchased some cloths to jahit some baby stuffs. Datin have keluarkan her sewing machine and her jahit tepi machine, so selagi momentum ader, layan kan ajer.
Mr S will have to attend 2 weeks reservist for 2 weeks. So as the dutiful wife I follow him to get all the required  reservist stuffs. Mummy gonna miss u babe!!!!

and finally we bought all the baby necessities and all the basic essential. I think I'm addicted to Minyak Telon. (hehehe.... I even sapu some on my tummy... feels good u noe...)

At 32 weeks, the mask of pregnancy have appeared at the pits, neck and face. So demoralising, atok and Datin ensure that its normal. Mr S mcm biasa, same respond 'Samer jer yang muka you, takder mask mask hitam pun' Potek agaknya dia. Sajer nak jaga hati. Pandai.

Oh oh, I had my 8 months scanned last Thursday. Baby head is still below my diaphragm. The sonographer show us the baby's face. And so, we share the same chubby cheeks huh baby. And you even smile when daddy talk to you. That moment was truly precious. My love for you was developed a thousand fold.

Doctor advised to keep talking to baby and persuade baby to engage. If by the next check up baby still 'degil' den I have no choice but to select a date for the c-section.

Baby precious, listen to Mummy ok, be good and get engaged by November ok sayang. Mummy don't want the doctor to cut open Mummy's tummy. Try your best to turn, but if ur tooooo bam bam and cannot turn, Mummy will still love you. Ur my everything now, just get out safely. Till I meet u again on 20 October 2011 my sweetheart. Stay safe in there. ily.

Dah berisi?

Aiya its a very basi for me to still talk about wedding. Jelak liow, album album kawin dah simpan bawah katil pun.

So now bila dah kawin the new question pulak arise:-

"so..... dah ader.... dah ader...."
"dah sebelun kawin jah, dah berisi ker belum"
"sssoooooooooooo amaciaammmmmmm?"
my cousin kak ida tak habis habis, "Jah dah check? Positive"

Ini solan the husband suka jawab, 'Kita mencuba, tuhan yang kasi'

Its been a fulfilled 4 months being Mrs Suhardi. Its been a fun ride. We still need to make little sacrifices here and there to accommodate to each other needs. I've tried not to stay late at work, latest I gave myself is 9pm, laki tunggu oi kat rumah.

My uncle gave me a stack of buku buku panduan tu. Buku 'Hanya untuk Suami' tu dah 4 bulan dalam bag, sampai skarang tak habis baca. Aiyo.

Ok korang ingat bila dah sah and nak nak play play dun forget the doa:-

"Ya Allah, jauhkan syaitan daripada kami dan jauhkan syaitan dari (anak) yang akan Kamu anugerahkan kepada kami"
Amin!

Honey across the moon Part 2 - Eiffel I'm in Love

Nest Stop was PARIS. 4 Days 3 Night.

We have prebook our euro rail tickets from Amsterdam to Paris via Thalys. Comfortable 3hours train ride, which we spent most of the time sleeping. Its the weather lah. Mengantok kan.

IYes agreed, Paris is the city of love, but its damn filthy can. Its littered with dog shit. Geli I, but the man, sigh... tak rugi lah cuci mata kat sana and shopping, double sigh.... tak rugi lah jalan berkilo kilo meter nak go to the kedai.

We stayed at this gorgeous hotel, 10 minutes walk from the Gare du nord train station. But with the language breakdown and the penat and the very very berat bag pack and the uneven road that make it difficult to pull black spidey and the frequent 'Jalan sana' 'Tak sana' 'You tengok lah map betol betol' 'I dah cakap jalan sana' we took almost close to an hour. Luckily, we were directed by a Will Smith look a like who is fluent in English. Nice nice guy, sampai kat depan hotel lah member bawak. Dapat pahala budak ni. Mar had warned that Paris hotel room are all so tiny. I have to agreed with her on that.

We were totally flat once we hit the bed. We woke up to grab a bite, do you know that most shopping centre in Paris closed on Sunday. Ye betol. Sunday tutup kedai. So kita jalan jalan amik gambar.

We went to many many flea markets. My heaven. Paris is a fan of fleas. Alot of flea market I tell you. And we grab the best kebab in the entire trip from the fleas.

Eiffel tower was gorgeous. To save money, and to escape the long q, we climb the stairs to go to the 1st floor. Tercungap cungap I babe, dah lah sejuk, mcm nak tercabut nyawa naik, I was nagging at the man 'For additional 4 euros kita dah sampai dah agaknya, dah beratus gambar kita amik' Once we reached the 1st floor we spent the next 20 mins seating in silence, no talking, no whispering, total peace. Tangkap nafas.
To those intendeed to visit Eiffel, I advice you prebooked your ticket. Book your ticket here.

We also visited the Moulin Rouge. I always thought that it was much bigger. We got a sneak peak of all the girls. Betol betol mcm citer moulin rouge with their make ups and can can.

The next day, we went to Nortre Damn, you know the hunchback of Notre Damn. I called out for him but on the day we visited him, he was off.

Next was the lourve. Where Tom hanks and Audrey Tou Tou acted in The Davinci's code.

We proceed to walk down the gorgeous gourgeous plain around the area.

Monday was Shopping Day, LV and long champ cost so much less there. FYI, one person was only allowed to buy 1 LV bag and a wallet. The man's fren kirim a LV speedy for his tunang's dulang. I intended to buy one for datin, but since the model was not available at Champ Elysee, we were asked to go down to Gallery Lafayette. I fell in love with delightful. Baru lah nak lonjat kegembiraan when the sales person mentioned with a very strong accent, 'Sorry mademoiselle, 1 passport, 1 bag' Huh?  That bad ah they control their bags. These french people are weird. So girls if you plan to go Paris and intend to buy LV, kalau ader orang nak kirim bag, tell them 'Kirim Salam'

and u'll lose it big time if  failed to try to extremely delicious Laduree Macaroon while in Paris.

Next.... London!!!!
