Pre wedding outdoor shoot was not gone to waste. I poloroid it and print via snapfish. place it inside plastic sheet and onto the plastic holders.

We tied ribbons and cucuk it into the grasses around the seating podium.

Plastic Sheet with the sticky tape was bought at Daiso $2 for a packet of 50sheets. Jadi incase hujan, photos tak damage.

The plastic holder we bought it at Far East Flora for $0.10 a piece. Sepuluh sent satu. Serious. Its place near the cashier. Grab lah 5 ker 10 ker 20 ker. 

Tie ribbons so that it blends with the deco.

Tentage in Singapore cost a bomb. My budget killer. I've view a lot of Malaysians blog and mostly all erected gorgeous looking tentage not the normal cheopo chepo A tentage but the gorgeous gazebo dome like ones. Maybe kat sana lagi murah agaknya.

Obviously u can ask ur decor or caterer to quote, as they might have better deal, tapi Jentayu tak buat tent and Farah Diana's contractor quoted not so competitive price. So I pull up my sleeves and contacted dozens of tentage contractors. A few of my approved vendor list of contractors.

I actually have a total of 23 tentage company listed in my wedding note book (lupa nak cakap, wedding note book is very essential. Takper nanti lain hari kita discuss pasal wedding note book)

If you intend to put up tent, please ask for more than 2 quotes. The price different from one company  to another were very very vast appart. A company quote me $8K. Biar betol. I actually had the guy on the fone to repeat himself 3 time. Lagi satu $750, tapi just the steel structure without the white canvas. Dia buat kelakar ker apa? So go get ur quotes. And please do provide correct information:-

• nak dome shape ker (mahal)
• nak gazebo (lagi mahal)
• nak A shape ker (this is me, yg paling murah)
• Make sure that it includes white lining (to cover up the metal steel structure)
• Transparent cover at the side (jadi hujan can cover)
• the no. of lights (florescent or down light)
• the no. of fans (the normal attached fan or the 3 blade fans)
• correct dimension of the place/area
• no. of guest tables
• Additional generator (hint: suruh org tent tap illegally dari block depan ker apa, pandai pandai sembunyi, kalau takot den bo pian kena sewa generator)

To be safe, ask the person to come down on site for a site visit. Then only a more accurate quotes can be given. And please kalau sewa the standing fans from them, jgn bring it up to use at home time nikah. Mcm kawan baik I, bawak naik fan gedabak tu kat rumah, kirakan nak keep cool lah time nikah. Sekali trip. Industrial fan mana lah boleh pakai kat umah, very high voltage you noe. Nanti kena current. So be careful eh.

Birthday Party

I received emails for contacts to rent candy floss and popcorn machine.

My advice is for you to get quotation from your caterer, some caterer bleh carikkan and absorb a small amount for the rental of the popcorn and candyfloss. But if your caterer quote price yg very ridiculous, cekek duit orang, I think its wiser to go direct to the main source.

House of ribbons.

How I love this shop. I can browse for hours in here. The tuns left me in the shop while he lari sejab to Haji lane, 1.5 hours later, I still cant decide on the colours for the ribbons. Ribbons heaven I tell you. They are the supplier of ribbons and their price is definately cheaper as compared to far east flora, abc bargain store or spotlight, kedai yg pandai ketok duit org, tapi kita still gi sana beli benda merepek. Sigh.

They even customize ribbons. The 3 roles of big ribbons, its $6+ per role for 100 yards. 8 roles gua angkut.

The shop is right at the end of arab street, sebelah ngan Fika, depan Al-Majlis.

I wanna be a rocking ROCKSTAR!!!

We are really fond of candid pictures. I love the idea of having a candid photo booth. Such as these.

so when I saw Huda Ali R.O.C.K.I.N.G booth I go 'You make me wanna lala!!!!!!!!!!!!!'

I am so in love with this idea, and it was created by studioDua. I love love their photography. They are an expert in the old and berlapok pictures which I totally dig. Sigh... sukanya. Tapi member ni celebrity, banyak lah artist artist nak berposing posing. Fad who attended her wedding cakap nak amik gambar sampai kena line up lagi...

Kita ni saper jer, takkan nak harapkan makcik makcik pot pet I berposing mcm gini, ngan bulu bulu merah tu, macam dah lain macam jer, or contractor contractor I yang dah tua tua tu dengan jam rolex berposing ngan bini tai tai jorang or kawan kawan datin yg senior senior nurse tu or member member my dad yang dulunya samseng kampung tapi skarang dah jadi taxi driber berposing mcm celebrity diatas tu. Takperlah kirim salam ajer lah, duit simpan kasi orang makan lepas wedding lagi baik.

So for now, I'm still sticking to my poloroids guest book. But seriously, I'm totally digging the booth. I bet they had a hell lot of fun.
