Deco and Pelamin

I love colours. I love to talk about deco, the flowers, the concepts, the themes, colour pallete. entah lah, memang suker lah part part deco ni. Time kecik banyak main colour colour agaknya. I remember I had that huge box of collen colour pencil ingat the yellow or orange box with 2 side of colours in one pencil, I remembered one, one side pink and the other side blue, I kept sharpening it sampai jadi kontot skali, nak colour pun susah, tangan asyik berpeluh jer. Ok enuff of my nonsence.

I chilled with one of my best kakis at mccafe @ ECP for a solid 4 hours just trying to search for the perfect deco. Saper yg nak decor orbit zaman mak or makcik kiter kan. semua nak yg cantik chic dan up todate dgn harga yg berpatutan. Mcm mcm website kita search, kita surf. I dah booked my decor tapi si mental ni keep delaying sampai byk company yg dah takder date dia.

First when choosing deco company, ask urself wat is ur budget. There are some high class punya company dat provide high class deco and there are also company yg tak lah bayak org tau tapi dia punya decor boleh tahan. Ader class.

Slalunya deco we use fresh flowers, mahal sikit tapi effect dia lain tau girl. Kalaau u pakai bunga plastic kadang mcm tak seri. Takder bau bunga pun, bau peluh abang yang angkat angkat barang tu jer ler..eeekk.

And please tgk the quotation does it include chair covers. Separuh tak include and u need to pay separately. Ada separuh tanya mesti ker ader chair cover... eh mesti. Kalau kenduri kendara, birthday ker, budak budak sunat ker potong jambul ker, cina mams ker, dat one ok lah. Tapi ni majlis kawin, kalau ader chair covers kan nampak senonoh sikit. Tak payah ader ribbon tapi kalau mampu apa salahnya.

Dun forget to ask abt skirting and runners for tables. Meja pengantin makan, meja mak pengatin collect duit, meja for buffet, meja for dessert, meja for guest, meja for potong cake.

Ask for abt their centre pieces oso. Nak taruk bunga ker, vase ker, candles ker.

Another factor is the size of the pelamin, ader 8 ft, 10ft, 12ft, 14ft, 16ft dan yang paling besar ialah 24ft. Kalau ader aunty aunty yg seperti aunty aunty I yg semua berbadan sasa, yg always berasak rasak nak take picture with the pengantin takkan lah nak amik 10 ft kan. Pengantin dia jer dah berkilo kilo, kalau pelamin tu tak roboh memang nasib dah cukup baik tu, kayu tu dia pakai kayu yg bagus, maybe kayu jati agaknya.

Jgn lupa ask kalau they provide chandeliar, cantik tu, now adays oso the deco pple dah lilit the hideous coloum for bawah kolong block. Now all very creative lah. ada $$$ semua ok.

Dan kalau boleh jgn lah banyak sangat bunga, some deco company taruk banyak sangat bunga and pokok, dah mcm hutan pulak pelamin. sikit sikit jer lah yg memadai.

Now black is in season. Memang cannot deny lah, memnag cantik nampak class. Eg of colours yg goes well with black, seperti Fuchia, aqua, purple dan sewaktu dengannya. This one later can talk wen we touch abt colour pallete.

Tapi mummy dah say, 'No Black eh'

A few of my frens mentioned 'Buat apa nak deco mahal mahal, cantik cantik, kita duduk kat pelamin tak sampai 1 jam' Correct, correct. Tapi kalau nak buat majlis biar buat senonoh, kita bayar beribu ribu make sure kita give the best tapi jgn lah sampai burst budget pulak.

And pls eh tak semestinya murah tu tak cantik and tak semestinya mahal tu cantik. It all depends on the creativity of the service provider and we, bakal pengantin must communicate well with them. Tell them wat we want. Nak macam mana, tell them. Lagi baik if we can show them design yang mcm mana kita nak. Go surf surf save picture kalau yg berkenan. Show them. This way they will have a better idea of what the clients wants. Jadi semua happy, and work can be executed well. Jgn lah asyik sembarang sembarang jer.

Jentayu will be my official decorator. Harga dia boleh tahan lah, but a few cakap mahal, but honestly quotation yg i received from other company semua around der. Tapi hati dah suker, nak buat mcm mana. Tutup mata, bayar deposit, sign jer.
